Furniture sculptures
This study is a formal and constructive investigation of vulcanized fiber. It examines its specific properties - its tendency to deform and the strength it develops when contracting. The approach is based on the balance between guiding the material and allowing it freedom to move and shape itself. The goal is not to use its technical properties to create precise, flawless products, but rather to develop a material-oriented aesthetic, a design language that arises from the behavior of the material itself. At the center of this process is the creation of devices and jigs that guide the material but do not completely control it, allowing for a dialogue between intention and spontaneity.
